A downloadable game

To look up at the sky and just take in that longtime muse is one of the most ubiquitous human experiences, so many have looked to the aflame sky and shining stars and wondered what lay behind them…always out of reach.

In Skies, you take on the role of ordinary friends, continents apart, working together to observe and communicate what you see in the sky before day break. Alongside two other players, you will work to fully describe the sky by collecting and playing all the cards to fill in two of three suits: dusk, night, and dawn.

In order to communicate with each other, you have all set up a group chat to which cards may be played face down as a message to the group chat.  You may take a moment to read messages in the group chat, flipping a card face up. As time passes you will gain information about the most spectacular views in the skies, drawing cards from the draw pile.  You will play cards of your sky in front of you—I mean, how could you not take photos and describe the sky to your friends?

Two sets of rules outline how to play the game with either a deck of 52 standard playing cards or print-and-play components (which consist of custom cards and card backs to cut out and glue).
